FormRelay

Brevo

See the installation steps to learn how to install our app and change the form name

Before you start

  • A Brevo account with at least one list — Brevo has no "all contacts" fallback, so a list must exist before you can map a form.
  • An API key — SMTP & API → API keys.

Using Authorised IPs? If Security → Authorised IPs is enabled, Brevo rejects calls from addresses you have not listed, and deliveries fail with "unrecognised IP address". Add all three of FormRelay's IP addresses — or switch the restriction off.

Step 1: Set Up Brevo Integration

  1. In your App Dashboard, go to the Sites menu and click on your Authorized Webflow Site.

Selecting Site in App Dashboard

  • Here you will see all your forms across the site.
  • A form can send to several destinations, but only one of each kind. Adding a second Brevo destination to the same form is not possible; edit the existing one instead.

Selecting Brevo Form in App Dashboard

  1. From the left-hand menu, click on Integrations. You will see available categories such as:
    • Apps & Platforms (Notion, Slack, Discord, Airtable)
    • Email & marketing (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo, MailerLite, EmailOctopus, Moosend, Omnisend, Sender)
    • Automation & Webhooks (Webhook, Zapier, Make, etc.)

On Integration menu selecting Brevo

  1. Under Email & marketing, click on Brevo.
    • Give the connection a recognizable name (e.g., “Brevo integration - Contact”).
    • Paste your Brevo API key (For details, see section 4: How to create a Brevo API key).
    • click "Save".
    • After clicking "Save", your added Brevo integration will appear under "CONNECTIONS".
    • You can edit or delete the connection at any time.

Integration Brevo popup window

    • Click "+ Generate API key".
    • A pop‑up will appear:
      • Enter a recognizable Key name (e.g., “FormRelay by Faizatech” ).
      • Select an Expiry date.
      • Click Generate.
    • Your new API key will be displayed.
    • Copy the key and store it securely — you’ll need it to connect your app.

✅ Your Brevo integration is now successfully set up and ready to sync form submissions.

If deliveries fail with "unrecognised IP address"

Brevo has an Authorised IPs security setting. When it is switched on, Brevo only accepts API calls from IP addresses you have listed — and FormRelay delivers from its own servers, not from your computer, so those calls get rejected:

We have detected you are using an unrecognised IP address …

Because the delivering IP can change, this usually shows up as deliveries that work for a while and then start failing.

To fix it, open Security → Authorised IPs in Brevo and add all three of FormRelay's IP addresses. All three are needed, because outbound traffic is balanced across them. Turning the restriction off works too.

Troubleshooting

What you see What it means
We have detected you are using an unrecognised IP address … Brevo's Authorised IPs restriction is on and does not include us. Add all three FormRelay IP addresses at Security → Authorised IPs, or turn the restriction off.
No destinations to choose from The account has no list yet. Create one under Contacts → Lists, then reopen the mapping dialog.

Still stuck?

Open the site's Logs page in FormRelay. Every attempt is recorded with the destination's own error message, and you can Replay a failed delivery once the cause is fixed. Delivery & Retries explains what the statuses mean.
